Now be sure this is a newer version then what is already installed on your 760. Intel Q43/Q45/G43/G45 (Eaglelake) Graphics Controller, G41 (intel) Graphics Controller, v.8., A07. Choose update drivers and browse to the location of the extracted driver. Now go to Device Manager and click on Display Adapter and right click on the Q45. Download that driver and then extract it to a folder with Winzip. Then go down to the first listing of Windows 10 drivers. Hopefully this will help with the driver problem.ĮDIT: However after a bit of checking I found Q45 drivers on the Microsoft Update Catalogue site here for Windows 10. And if you go to the Dell support page for the 760 you will see the last driver they issued for the Q45/Q for Windows 7 and Windows Vista (Dell obviously engineered this driver).
The oldest graphics generation that Intel supported with Windows 10 drivers was the Intel HD 2500. And the latest Intel driver for the Q45/Q43 was for Windows XP. And notice that self support (in other words Intel support ceased and you are on your own) in 2016 when the Intel 630 graphics were released. The graphics on the 760 were the Q45/Q43 as per this chart from Intel. So he cannot possibly have 630 Graphics on that old Optiplex 760 which would account for the errors when trying to install 630 drivers. The Intel 630 graphics was released in 2016. Well for starters the Optiplex 760 goes back to around 2009 or so.
