You can Mark Folders for Offline on Box Drive! Selectively sync down folders from your Box account to your local machine to continue working offline. In addition, files can be locked/unlocked and Box Notes can be created on folders. Right click on any file to to reveal additional Box functionality to copy or email shared links and to view the item on Box.com. With Box Drive, all your Box files are available and streamed to your Box Drive folder without occupying any hard drive space. If you want to have specific folders available for offline use, Box Drive will allow you to mark folders for offline access specific to each device you use. Open your Windows Explorer or Mac Finder to find every file you need and see all your changes saved up to Box from your desktop. Edit content directly from Box.com through Box Toolsīox Drive is a productivity tool that streams all your content from Box, right to your desktop, taking up very little hard drive space. Access all your folders from your local Box Drive folder. If you need additional storage, submit your request to the OIT Help Desk, using this form: or select other options, OneDrive or Google Drive. Failure to do so could result in your data being overwritten later. In the "I need to." drop-down menu, select "report that my U: drive is now empty". IMPORTANT: Once your migration is complete, please delete all legacy data from your old U: drive and notify OIT using the Help Request Form.
